Target Group: Staff in schools, colleges, work based learning providers and other organisations working with young people who have responsibility for, or are involved in, the delivery of careers education and IAG.
Outline: The session will focus on the implications of the 14/19 agenda; with reference to the Education and Skills Implementation Plan, the Leitch Review of Skills, and the introduction of Diplomas.
Outcome: Participants will gain an insight into the implications of 14-19 policy for their students, including the need for earlier and enhanced guidance, and clear understanding of progression routes.
This course is the third of eight Essential Guides running throughout the year.
