Improving how we market your vacancies

To improve how we market vacancies to young people, Connexions Manchester has launched a new interactive job search facility in Connexions Centres across the area. This fast track vacancy matching service, called cnx2jobs, is available to help young people looking for employment and training opportunities. It enables Connexions to market vacancies to young people in an attractive and innovative way. There are qualified Connexions staff on-hand at each Connexions Centre to help and assist.

cnx2jobs was first launched by Paul Goggins MP in the Wythenshawe Connexions Centre in June 2005. He said "The new job search facility cnx2jobs empowers young people. Whether they are looking for a job, or training, or simply looking at other local opportunities, they can come here and use this new interactive service. I am delighted that we now have these services at the centre of our community."

Mhikaila (aged 17) said: “I’m looking to get into telesales work and cnx2jobs has helped me pinpoint which employers to contact. Connexions has helped me with my CV, applications forms, interviews and even contacting employers for me. I guess that’s why they’re called Connexions!”
