You’ve got some choices to make over what to do next – and the decisions you make will affect what happens to you in the future.

Here are a few examples of the choices young people 13 – 19 need to consider and that you’ll need to make decisions about too.

Choices about your education like:

• What GCSEs or other Year 10-11 courses should I take?
• What shall I do after Year 11?
• Should I go to college?

Choices about the work and training you could do like:

• How can I choose what career I want?
• How do I look for work?

Choices about your lifestyle:

• What do I do if I’ve got a problem with my health, with housing, with friends or my family?
• What financial help is there?
• What can I do in my spare time?
• What are my rights?
• How to get around?
  

There are plenty of other choices you’ll need to make later in life too.
